This talk will focus on assessing recent major innovations in information technology
that have made it easier to acquire a comprehensive world view in real time. The   
explosion in media and technology have made it increasingly competitive to win the
attention of millions of people around the world. It is now a full time job for each
individual to effectively accumulate, organize, assimilate, and evaluate news,
education, entertainment, and personal information domestically and globally using the
truly amazing technology that is available to everyone today. How this can be done
precisely, efficiently, safely, and fairly will be a challenge for the future. The key to
gaining a global perspective will be a thorough developing a deep understanding of
technology now and in the future. Use the technology.
